Service Description
This course is required by the Texas Department of Public Safety-Regulatory Services Division to anyone wishing to work in the private security industry. In accordance with Chapter 1702 of the Texas Occupations Code and DPS-RSD rules, this course must be completed (including a written exam), to be able to issue you a “Non-Commissioned Security Officer" license. You must complete this course to obtain a Commissioned Security Officer license and Personal Protection Officer license. This course features: Basic DPS-RSD laws, rules, and requirements Use of Force/Response to Resistance Radio Procedures Emergency Response Procedures Verbal Tactics/Verbal Judo There is no previous experience required to complete this course and all individuals interested in breaking into the Private Security Industry must take this course.
